Qualifications To Be Eligible For A Curacao Digital Nomad Visa
Are you a digital nomad or remote worker?
Can you prove that work is location-independent and you use telecommunications technologies?
Will you work or conduct activities for either of the following?
An employer in a foreign country (not in Curacao)?
A company registered outside of Curacao?
As a freelancer offering services mostly to clients that are in a foreign country?
Do you earn enough income to support yourself (or your family) when you are in Curacao?
Do you have an insurance policy that covers COVID-19?
If YES, then you can apply for a Curacao Digital Nomad Visa.

To gain entry to Curacao, please check if you need to have a visa beforehand.
Documents Required For Your Application
1. Passport Bio Page – clear copy
2. Proof of Solvency – either
A declaration of assignment (own company in the country of origin) or
Employer Declaration from employer
Recently Certified Copy of Employment Contract
3. Medical Health Insurance - this must have COVID-19 Coverage. We recommend SafetyWing insurance for remote workers as this can be your country of residence or covers you for long and short trips. They also have COVID Coverage.
4. Completed Appendix D (proof of payment) – Link here. Choose “Kort verblijf” that costs NAf 535
This must be paid to:
Maduro & Curiel’s Bank N.V.
Account number: 31967908 of the Ministry of Finance
BIC/Swift: MCBKCWCU
Don’t forget to state your name following the passport on the attachment. Please note that the full amount must be received, so you will have to shoulder the charges. Upload the proof of payment (maybe thru online banking) and Appendix D as shown on the link above.

6. Return Ticket – you may be asked for a return ticket when you enter Curacao. You can rent a flight with us.
7. Visa – if you are required
Steps On Applying For A Curacao Digital Nomad Visa
STEP 1: Gather the requirements above. Don’t forget to scan them ahead or pay the fees.
STEP 2: Proceed to their website. Make sure you are applying under Remote Worker. Click “Start Application.”
STEP 3: Answer the information asked.
STEP 4: Upload the documents required.
P.S. As there is no family bundle, please don’t forget to add them to your application and pay the necessary fees.
STEP 5: Agree to the terms. Sign in the form. Click Send.
STEP 6: Wait for a decision if you have been approved.
STEP 7: An approval is given electronically. Congratulations! You can be “At Home in Curacao.”

Things To Note:
Applications can be made abroad or while in Curacao.
Each applicant must submit individually.
For Families - family members need to apply under the main applicant. Each family member who is 12 years and above is required to sign their application form. Please include your dependents in the application and pay the fees.

You may need a return ticket once you are approved.
There is no income tax for digital nomads or remote workers.
You may reapply again for another 6 months if your stay has expired.
Please fill up a Passenger Locator Card (PLC Card) at this website 72 hours before your flight to Curacao.
